What I Can Offer

A quiet page for anyone searching for real support, not just services.

Introduction

I’m not a professional — I’m a parent who has lived this system — and still lives it.
Social services didn’t just appear in my life.
They were there in the background of my childhood.
They returned when I became a mother — taking my firstborn, then my second.
And even when things began to settle,
they came back… and took my children.

I created The Girl Speaks because I didn’t have a guidebook.
I had fear, confusion, and a deep need to be heard.

Now, I offer quiet, non-judgmental support to others walking that same uncertain path.

What I Offer

One-to-One Understanding

Sometimes you just need someone who gets it.
You’re welcome to message me if you need help writing a letter, understanding a report, or just want to be heard by someone who won’t judge you.

Honest Blog Posts

Here, I speak the truth many are afraid to say — not with anger, but with quiet clarity.
I share raw blog posts, emotional quote cards, and reflections that speak to the invisible pain too many carry.

A Note About Emotional Support
If you’re in need of emotional or mental health support beyond lived experience,
I’ve created a page with trusted links to official support services.

You’ll find access to organisations offering professional help — including crisis support, therapy directories, and helplines.
This space is not a substitute for those, but I believe in pointing people gently toward the help they deserve.

Want to Reach Out?

You’re welcome to send a message using the [Contact Page] if something resonates or you need a little guidance.
You don’t have to explain everything. Just let me know how I can walk beside you.

Final Note

This isn’t professional advice.
It’s lived experience — offered freely, with compassion and care.

Take what helps. Leave what doesn’t.
And please remember:
You are not alone.
