I did the work. But the system didn’t see it.
After months — years — of showing up, healing, and proving myself, I found myself back in court being judged on a report written three years ago.
My therapy? Ignored.
My discharge letter from mental health services? Ignored.
My glowing contact notes, character references, updated assessments? Pushed aside.
The judge never heard my voice.
They spoke over me — and closed the door without letting me step forward.
Now, I’m left with two options:
- Restart a therapy programme that will take up to two years, even though I’ve already completed it.
- Or fund a private psychological assessment — the only realistic way to challenge the decisions being made about my family.
This is where I need help.
Why I’m Fundraising
Legal aid has now ended.
I’ve been quoted £1,404 for a private psychological assessment.
This is more than I can afford on my own — but I believe in showing the truth.
I believe I’ve already proven myself. And I believe my children deserve to have that truth seen.
If you’re able to donate or share the fundraiser, you’re helping me take the next step in a fight that feels impossibly hard — but still worth it.
Thank You
To every person who’s donated, shared, or simply reached out with kindness — thank you.
You’ve helped me keep going, even on the days when everything felt broken.
This isn’t the end of my story.
It’s a new chapter — and I’m writing it with more courage than ever before.
